L-MAR Associates Prior Relationships

L-Mar Associates has been in business for 36 years. Over that time, L-Mar has had the opportunity to represent some of the most respected companies in the electronics industry. L-Mar Associates has developed hundreds of contacts and relationships from these engagements that continue to blossom today. The experience with these lines has given L-Mar valuable product knowledge and insight to the markets served by those products. It is important that potential principals understand L-Mar Assocates' past relationships to fully understand the sales and support value L-Mar can provide moving forward.

L-Mar Associates represented PMI/ADI for 25 years in the Upstate New York market.  ADI's Product Portfolio covered products ranging from voltage references to DSP based Processors. L-Mar Associates' V.P. of Technology, John McAdoo, was an approved ADI DSP application engineer for the Upstate NY market. 

L-Mar’s last Fiscal Year with ADI was an extremely successful year.  Sales revenue grew 34% from the previous year earning L-Mar a substantial bonus. In 2007 ADI went to a sales person direct model in a cost cutting effort.

L-Mar has 22 years experience in the Upstate New York PLD market.  PLD vendors have a very demanding, well documented and highly disciplined sales process that can push a Rep’s Cost of Sales model out of balance if not properly managed.  L-Mar successfully managed the Upstate New York market by identifying SAM opportunities and focusing on demand creation    A large portion of L-Mar's success was due to the diligence L-Mar applied to tracking each opportunity in a Design Win Data base and managing the post sales support.
